This box is approximately 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" (widest areas) as it comes sized. It can be made a tad bit larger and can be reduced in size as well. The file comes with the egg base pieces (6 in total), eight tall mats, and eight short mats and it is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats. The egg's top is removable so you can fill your egg with goodies and the recipient can lift the top off to reveal the surprise!
